Apple device setup and AirPlay

App Store, AirPlay, compatible media apps. Follow these steps on your own device, and check the troubleshooting resources if something doesn't work as expected.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
  2. Install a compatible, trusted media application available for your exact device and region.
  3. Open it and sign in to an account you are authorized to use, or import your own permitted media playlist if supported.
  4. To use AirPlay, connect the iPhone or iPad and your Apple TV or AirPlay-enabled television to the same Wi-Fi network.
  5. While using an AirPlay-capable app, tap the AirPlay icon and select the television.
  6. If AirPlay is not available for the content, open the service’s native Apple TV app where offered.
