Fix it faster

Troubleshooting centre

Try these checks before changing your account settings or reinstalling applications.

Video buffering or freezing

  1. Test another authorized app or video to isolate whether the problem is device-wide.
  2. Check network speed and stability; reduce video quality if needed.
  3. Restart the media app, TV device, and router.
  4. Try Ethernet where available, or move closer to your Wi-Fi access point.
  5. Check whether the source provider reports an outage.

Invalid login or authentication

  1. Confirm you are using the correct app and account type.
  2. Check the username, password and provider server address for typing errors.
  3. Verify that the account or membership is active with its issuer.
  4. Avoid sharing login credentials in public messages; request a secure reset when necessary.

Playlist fails to load

  1. Confirm your permitted M3U link or provider endpoint is complete and current.
  2. Check that the player supports the supplied playlist format.
  3. Refresh the playlist, close the app and reopen it.
  4. If the source is unavailable, contact the source operator.

Channels or library missing

  1. Refresh or re-sync the guide and library in the player.
  2. Inspect active categories, filters, hidden groups, and favorite-only views.
  3. Verify the media source is still authorized and accessible.
  4. Ask the source operator whether your entitlement or catalog changed.

App crashing or freezing

  1. Update the application and device operating system.
  2. Restart the device and check available storage.
  3. Clear app cache if your device offers that option.
  4. Reinstall from the official store only after saving needed settings securely.

Phone cannot find the TV

  1. Confirm the TV box is a Google Cast receiver (not merely Android-based).
  2. Put the phone and receiver on the same Wi-Fi network, avoiding guest Wi-Fi isolation.
  3. Check for Google Cast / Chromecast built-in updates and reboot both devices.
  4. Try casting from a known Cast-enabled app to separate app-specific issues.
  5. If the streaming app lacks Cast support, use the native TV app.

Black screen, no sound, or subtitles missing

  1. Test another item to identify a media-format issue.
  2. Switch playback engine or hardware decoding options if the app offers them.
  3. Check television audio output, HDMI settings, and subtitle/audio track selections.
  4. Use the official app for DRM-protected content.

TV guide not updating

  1. Check the player’s EPG refresh setting and update it manually.
  2. Verify that the source supplies an EPG feed.
  3. Check time zone, device clock, and app filters.
  4. Contact the guide/source operator if schedule data remains unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

Simple answers about devices, media players, connections, and Nexora support.

What is the difference between an IPTV player and a TV subscription?

A player is software that displays media from a separately supplied source. Installing a player does not include live channels, films, or permission to view copyrighted programming. Use only properly licensed or otherwise authorized content.

What are M3U playlists and provider logins?

An M3U playlist is a format for listing media streams. Some providers also support a server URL, username, and password through a compatible player. The available sign-in methods depend on the app and service.

Which box is better: Google TV Streamer, Onn 4K Pro, or Xiaomi TV Box S?

All offer Google TV and compatible Cast functionality. The Google TV Streamer has built-in Gigabit Ethernet and 4GB RAM; Onn 4K Pro may be good value when priced competitively; Xiaomi is a compact option. Verify current specs, model, and Canadian availability before purchase.

Can I start a video on my Android phone and send it to my Google TV?

Yes, when the phone app supports Google Cast and the receiver supports the stream format. Both devices generally need the same local Wi-Fi network. DRM restrictions and app support can prevent casting even when the box itself is compatible.

Can I use my phone as a remote instead of casting?

Yes. Google TV supports phone-based remote-control options, and some media applications offer remote or companion features. Playing directly on the TV often provides more dependable viewing than mirroring your phone.

Does Nexora include Netflix, sports channels, or other paid streaming subscriptions?

Do not assume third-party content is included. The scope of any Nexora package should be confirmed directly from the published service description and written membership terms. Third-party subscriptions may require separate payment.

What internet speed do I need for HD or 4K?

Streaming requirements vary by platform, codec, and number of devices. As a broad planning guide, stable 5–10 Mbps per HD stream and around 25 Mbps for many 4K streams are useful starting points, not service guarantees.

How do I install apps safely?

Use the official Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore, Samsung Apps, LG Apps, or the developer’s verified website where possible. Avoid unknown download links and unnecessary requests to disable security protections.

Why do I see no Cast icon?

Your player may not implement casting, your devices may be on separate networks, or the receiver may not support the required protocol. Check the app’s own casting documentation and the box’s Google Cast certification.

Can I use the same account on multiple devices?

Device installation and simultaneous viewing are different. The number of permitted streams depends on the terms of your authorized content provider.

What details should I send to support?

Include your device brand/model, operating system version if known, app name, description of the issue, steps already attempted, and a screenshot with personal information concealed. Do not send passwords in ordinary messages.

How does membership renewal work?

Membership dates, renewal options, and payment procedures should follow Nexora’s current published terms. Confirm your exact end date and renewal procedure through Nexora’s official contact channel.

Will a VPN fix buffering?

Not necessarily. Start by checking Wi-Fi quality, device resources, service status, and stream quality. VPNs can reduce speeds and are not a reliable universal fix. Follow applicable service terms and local laws.
